“Joshua Frazer to face Irish-champ Eugene Mckeever”

Amateur Boxing is in for a treat Saturday night as Current Jamaican National Champion and 2018 Canadian National Champion 69kg Joshua Frazer will enter the ring against Irelands’ Eugene Mckeever. The event will take place at the Westin Toronto Airport Hotel, 950 Dixon Road, Etobicoke, ON. This event is also a tribute to 1984 Canadian Olympic silver medalist Sean O’Sullivan. The card also has another DBS boxer competing Saturday night: 64 kg Deedra Chestnut in a contest agains a fighter from Italy. Tickets will be available at the door for $30. Event starts at 7:00pm.

Joshua Frazer, after competing in two international events relatively back-to-back, took a brief time away from the game to focus on training and rest and is excited to get back to work on achieving Olympic Gold in 2020. After this weekend’s event, Frazer will compete in two or three more local events in Ontario before switching gears and heading to the 2019 Pan Am Games in Lima, Peru with Team Jamaica Boxing.
