Joshua S Frazer is a 31 year old professional Prize-fighter from Brampton, Ontario. He trains with his father,  Dewith Frazer, also a Canadian Olympian, in Mississauga.

Before choosing boxing as his passion, Joshua went to the United States to play Highschool an junior college basketball at Indiana and then Houston. Upon returning home from America, he opted to follow his father's footsteps and began on his own journey toward greatness in the same sport his father excelled in.

Joshua won gold at the Caribbean Championships.

Joshua won his first international gold medal with three wins in the tournament.

Joshua finished in the top eight of the tournament.

June 2019 – Toronto, Ontario - Bronze Gloves
Joshua won gold in this tournament with three fights

April 2019 – Nicaragua - Pan-am Trials
Joshua placed top 5 in the 69kg division

  • Costa Rica TKO round 2 win

  • Bahamas unanimous decision 5-0

  • Venezuela lost 2-3 split

February 2019 – Brampton, Ontario
Joshua won a bronze medal at 2019 Brampton cup 69 kg

February 2019 – Orangeville, Ontario.  
Joshua competed at fundraiser to raise funds and awareness for his team mate Jake Daoust.  This domestic competition helped him prepare for up-coming international events.

DETAILED COMPETITION HISTORY

2018

November 2018 - Kingston, Jamaica.  
Joshua competed at the Jamaican National Championships to qualify for the Pan American trials.  This was an opportunity to represent Jamaica at the up-coming Pan American trials.  Joshua did very well at the tournament with two wins.  Joshua won a gold medal

October 2018 – Ontario, Canada. 
Joshua won a gold medal at the Silver Gloves Championships.  He won three fights in his division. This was a very good domestic tournament providing him with more experience for future competitions.

July 2018 - Barranquilla, Colombia.  
Joshua competed at the CAC games.  Although Joshua lost to Costa Rica in the preliminaries, this event had some of the world's best boxing teams, such as Colombia, Cuba, Argentina, Mexico and Puerto Rico.  This was a great experience for Joshua.  It was a large scale tournament with other competitors representing countries in many other sports, and it was very similar to Olympic Atmosphere. Joshua had a great time, and gained more international large scale competition experience in preparation for the 2019 Pan American games.

May 2018 – Ontario, Canada. 
Joshua fought against Mexico and won 3-0 decision.  This was the very first Pro Amateur event in Ontario, and it was held at the Hershey Center.  This was a major event, as it was the biggest of its kind in 2018. 

March 2018 - Tijuana, Mexico.  
Joshua qualified to go to the 2018 CAC games in Colombia, representing Jamaica.

February 2018 – Montreal, Canada.  
Joshua won the rights to be released from Boxing Canada, so he could be able to compete for the Jamaican team, and Joshua was chosen as the 2017 Canadian national champion.  He was also voted as the best boxer from the Elite men's division.

January 2018 – Kingston, Jamaica.  
Joshua won gold at the 2018 National Championships with two wins.  While in Jamaica Joshua stayed at the Club in New Kingston, which was a very pleasant experience.
